On the evening of October 19, 2023, a spiritual awakening took place at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where the Youth Elohist Bible Club held a seminar that touched the hearts of 45 attendees. The event was organized by the International University Bible Association (IUBA), and it became a powerful opportunity to rediscover the precious words of God hidden within the renowned masterpiece by Leonardo Da Vinci, “The Last Supper.” This is one of the most recent events of the youth camp students of the Las Vegas Church of God.
Rediscovering the Last Supper
During the seminar, attendees delved into the significance of Da Vinci’s famous painting, “The Last Supper.” The painting depicts the Passover of the New Covenant, a sacred event where Jesus shared a meal with his disciples just before his crucifixion.
Through the enlightening discussions and presentations, guests realized that, although the Passover had been abolished in 325 A.D., the Bible prophesied the restoration of the Passover by the Second Coming Christ in the last days. This divine restoration allows God’s people to receive eternal life and enter the Kingdom of Heaven. It was also emphasized that we cannot achieve salvation unless we keep the truth of the New Covenant and observe the Passover.

The profound message of the seminar had a significant impact not only on the students attending the event but also on the family members of Church of God members. One heartwarming testimony came from a member whose sister was among the guests. She was deeply moved by the words of God presented during the seminar, which led her to attend the Sabbath Day service, marking the beginning of her transformative spiritual path. This ripple effect extended to the campus, influencing students who, through this seminar, were inspired to explore their faith and engage with their spirituality in a new and meaningful way.
