On February 15, 2026, members of the World Mission Society Church of God in San Francisco, CA gathered at Seal Point Park to serve their neighbors and beautify a cherished community space. In partnership with the San Mateo Public Works, the Church carried out an environmental cleanup event focused on caring for the park and strengthening community ties.
Although heavy rain had been forecast for the day, it did not deter the mission ahead. Rain or shine, members traveled from across the Bay Area with enthusiasm and a shared commitment of service, unity, and willingness to support the local San Mateo community.
Fifty-two church members gathered at 11 a.m., with one goal to serve with sincerity and a heart that reflects God’s love. Working side by side, volunteers dedicated their time and energy to enhancing the park’s natural beauty so that families, community members, and visitors can continue to enjoy its scenic views, trails, and open spaces. Together Church of God volunteers collected 20 bags of trash totaling 300 pounds. Their efforts reflected not only civic responsibility but also a genuine love for their neighbors and the community they call home.
Through this collaborative initiative, Church of God members built positive and meaningful relationships with the City of San Mateo Public Works team. The spirit of unity and cooperation was evident throughout the day as volunteers worked diligently and joyfully alongside city staff.
