Garden Grove, CA (Sunday, February 9, 2025) – The World Mission Society Church of God in Orange County hosted an enriching education seminar and fellowship for the International Student Bible Academy (ISBA) students this past Sunday. ISBA, a student-driven volunteer group from the Church of God, brought together volunteers from various locations including Orange County, San Diego, Los Angeles, Sunland, Cerritos, Escondido, Temecula, and Oceanside. The event was designed to foster unity, learning, and fun, and it did just that.
The Importance of Unity & Humility

The seminar focused on the importance of unity among brothers and sisters in faith, and emphasized the qualities of those chosen by God. The students were taught that God often calls upon the humble and weak to carry out His will, teaching them that true strength lies in humility and unity. Through these lessons, many students gained a deeper understanding of how God is pleased when His followers work together as one.
Education on Bullying

Following the educational session, ASEZ STAR volunteers presented an eye-opening session on bullying, educating the students on the different types of bullying and how to recognize them. The students gained valuable insights on the impact of harmful behaviors and were encouraged to foster kindness and respect in their daily interactions.
Team-building with Unity Games
After the presentation, the students participated in a variety of team-building activities that put their newfound lessons of unity into practice. The students played a fun obstacle course rally, which included a cup stacking game, corn hole, and pickleball balancing. The mission of the games was to encourage cooperation and teamwork. They also enjoyed playing Pictionary and took part in a lighthearted animal personality test, which helped break the ice and brought laughter and camaraderie to the group.
BBQ Dinner

The event was capped off with a delicious dinner prepared by the Church’s loving kitchen staff. The students were treated to a spread of hot dogs, burgers, nachos, and other delectable bites, making for a warm and festive atmosphere. For a bit of extra fun, attendees were invited to try their hand at a slingshot challenge using a nine-foot Goliath cut-out.
All in all, the event was a tremendous success, leaving the students feeling grateful and fulfilled. They left the seminar with a greater understanding of unity, good character, and the importance of working together in faith. Expressing sincere thanks to Heavenly Father and Mother, the students were overjoyed to have had the opportunity to participate and learn from such a memorable and impactful event.
