Even during their summer vacation from school, the International Student Bible Academy (ISBA) of the Church of God, is continuing to stay near to God Elohim through studying God’s words with educations.
The 2024 School Year Opening Worship for Students has been taking place throughout the Southwest region. Through the opening ceremony, the students could feel encouraged thinking about their accomplishments in the past year. They were reminded that the great success of the future begins with the youth, starting with themselves.
The ISBA students of the Church of God in Riverside were so excited and determined to be successful in their spiritual gospel career. In hearing that they are the future of the world gospel, the students expressed their enthusiasm and excitement about being able to be part of it. The ISBA members couldn’t help but feel very touched and gained a new fervor to be God’s joy all the more.
Event Overview
During the ceremony they watched various videos prepared by the church. The most prevalent lesson that they learned was to have the eyes of faith. They realized that even though it seems impossible to save one soul while in middle or high school, with faith, boldness and courage, God will allow many miracles, no matter how old you may be.
They could see that many ISBA leaders throughout the world were able to lead many of their friends and classmates to God the Father and God the Mother through their gracious words, good deeds and diligent preaching, which stands out in this world. Seeing the great example of the members from Korea, the Riverside ISBA members were determined to spread the good news of the gospel fervently before their ISBA careers ended.
One student member expressed how sorry she was for not leading anyone to the truth yet while in high school, but resolved to lead many of her friends during her last year of ISBA. It is not very common for middle and high school students to prioritize God or be interested in studying the Bible, but thanks to the grace of God, the Church of God students made a resolution to walk the path of our Heavenly Father and Mother.
Through the gracious education, all students could understand how precious their role is, even though physically they are young. They aren’t just students, they are prophets sent by Heavenly Mother. The educational videos that they were able to watch reminded all the students that God sees and acknowledges all their efforts. Student prophets are so important in this great work of the gospel, as they are the ones fulfilling the prophecies of the Bible of being the salt and light of the world!
From educations, to camps, to opening worships, the ISBA student prophets are becoming so active in taking part of the gospel work. In the month of June, the ISBA in Phoenix, Arizona, held a summer camp with Bible-related and team-building activities. The students in Korea held a large opening ceremony with 7,000 ISBA members of many churches across Korea. The ISBA all over the world are rising up! All of their great work is in accordance with the prophecy in Psalm 110 that the youth like the dew of dawn will be willing to carry out the work of God. Throughout Korea and even here in the west, in the Southwest region, such as in Riverside, San Diego, Phoenix and more, the student members are taking the lead with their passionate participation and energy!
For the remaining year of 2024, the Riverside ISBA, along with all ISBA throughout the Southwest region, will arise and carry out their God given mission!
