On December 7, 2023, the World Mission Society Church of God in Fresno hosted a “Come and See” Open House event.
Through this event, many members and family members were invited to come see the World Mission Society Church of God. They were introduced to the basic truths of the Bible that many people do not know about. The layout featured 10 different stations set up around the church. Three of them showed videos about the church, introduction and volunteer events.
The other stations had different themes: About the Passover, Sabbath, Mother, Mother’s Teachings, Father, New Songs, and Baptism. Through each station, visitors could get a short introduction to some of the basic truths of the Bible that all churches aren’t keeping, nor even know about.
Passover
For instance, the presenters of the “Passover” station emphasized the importance of keeping the Passover in these last days to be protected from disasters. Visitors were shocked to find out that Easter and communion were not in the Bible. But, rather the Passover of the New Covenant, which was restored in these last days.
Sabbath
In addition, presenters testified about the Sabbath day, which is Saturday and not Sunday. Many people who have kept Sunday worship their whole lives did not know that Sunday worship was not in the Bible. And lastly, visitors were greatly moved by the truth of God the Mother, who is testified in the Bible. Only the World Mission Society Church of God believes in both God the Father and God the Mother.
Through this, some members’ family members and friends were able to come and visit the church for the first time, even though the Church of God members have attempted to invite them to the church many times before. Many family members and friends might have held a different opinion or preconceived notion about the Church of God before attending this event.
However, after visiting the Church of God, many expressed that they received a good first impression of the church and stated their interest in returning to learn more. One family member who was able to attend all stations of the event expressed that they have never heard of any of these truths before even though they attended churches their whole life. They were especially shocked by the truths about God the Mother and that Christ already came back a second time in the flesh. Before visiting the church, nobody even knew that the Church of God has received the U.K. Queen’s Volunteer Service Award. They were truly impressed!
Know the Church
With many different perceptions, the event allowed family members and contacts a gracious opportunity to get a brief introduction to the church and receive the love of Mother. This event was so gracious and moving, that even one of the member’s two friends were able to receive to receive a new life through baptism. A beautiful couple were moved by the event, and without hesitancy, they received the true baptism under the three names of God: God the Father Jehovah, God the Son Jesus, and God the Holy Spirit Ahnsahnghong.
The purpose of this event was accomplished; many souls were able to realize the truth and where they should go in order to receive salvation. The hope is that many can return to continue studying the Bible so that all of us can enter the kingdom of heaven together.
