TORRANCE, CA (August 8, 2022) – Thinking of workers who have been stressed by the pandemic, Work Mission members of the Church of God in Torrance decided to host a healing seminar.
Having made preparations for three weeks, the members faithfully gathered together everyday to make props, games and practice the presentations for the seminar. Members from the Church of God in Reseda also helped by participating in the orchestra and ensemble.
The healing seminar started at 2PM with three performances from the orchestra and ensemble, and afterwards a brief presentation. Next, many different games and activities took place to help attendees relieve stress from work. The seminar featured a photo booth, basketball shooting game, corn hole, arts and crafts, Korean arrow game and box tumbler. There were also assorted snacks and drinks available.
In total, about 50 of our members’ co-workers, friends and family attended the event. Overall there was a very joyful atmosphere and many smiles were seen on the faces of all who participated.
