The mission was to provide sustenance for over 5,000 children and seniors facing food insecurity in LA County. The passionate group diligently assembled robust food packages, including chicken, cereal, condensed milk, canned fruit, and more, preparing them for distribution to those in need the following weekend.
The "Elohist Club" has recently been partnering with Fresno State's maintenance team to continue sustainability, gardening, cleaning, and planting projects all around campus. The "Elohist Club" has been hosting these volunteer events at least once a month.
The volunteers, driven by a shared purpose to shine the glory of God, orchestrated this cleanup event to forge a cleaner and safer environment for the families that congregate in this thriving community. Beyond the immediate mission, the park, a daily hub for hundreds of families, bicyclists, pet owners, and sports enthusiasts, was in dire need of restoration.
