70 volunteers of ASEZ WAO cleaned Simpson Park in partnership with the City of Hemet after massive rainstorms. Volunteers rolled up their sleeves to remove litter, fallen debris, and trim shrubs back from roads.
Through this gracious event and the grace of God, the goal of 7,000 was exceeded with a total of 7,071 pairs of socks donated! This collaboration and great community effort led to an impact on locals who may be struggling to stay warm. All the donations were distributed by the San Diego River Park Foundation.
The mission was to provide sustenance for over 5,000 children and seniors facing food insecurity in LA County. The passionate group diligently assembled robust food packages, including chicken, cereal, condensed milk, canned fruit, and more, preparing them for distribution to those in need the following weekend.
