This unique city of Tucson, which is located in the Sonoran Desert, contains breathtaking desert landscapes, including the Saguaro cactus, which is found only in the Sonoran Desert. Along with its legendary sunsets, thriving diverse culture, and endless hiking trails, Tucson is home to the legendary World Mission Society Church of God. The Church of God in Tucson, Arizona was established in 2009, but the historic church building was built in the 1950’s. Members of the Tucson Church of God are filled with passion, zeal, and earnestness to share the word of God to all people in this densely populated city. The gospel is continuously being preached, including the campus outreach at the University of Arizona, to which some student members carry out the gospel mission. Though they may experience the sweltering desert heat, it doesn’t put out the fire of the Holy Spirit burning in the members’ hearts.
