Located in the San Joaquin Valley, just north of the grapevine, Bakersfield is the largest city in Kern County. Though this populous city boasts all the amenities of any urban community, it is most known for its agriculture and oil production. Just as the fruits of its soil have made Bakersfield what it is today, the Church of God in Bakersfield, which put down its roots in 2011, has been reaping the fruits of the gospel sown there year after year.
