Mega Blood Drive

On Sunday, April 28, 2024, the World Mission Society Church of God hosted its annual blood drive in Los Angeles, California. The event was held at Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and worked closely with Lifestream Blood Bank once again.

The event was held at Shrine Auditorium, which is widely regarded as one of the centers of entertainment in the Los Angeles area. The Shrine Auditorium has hosted events such as The Grammy’s, The Emmy’s and The Academy Awards, among many others.

The purpose of this event was to help save lives due to the ongoing blood shortage. Currently, local offices announced a severe shortage in blood donations all throughout Southern California. The American Red Cross announced such a shortage in January of 2024 and that the number of people giving blood is at its lowest in 20 years.

Through this mega blood drive, the church hosted the largest one-day blood drive in LA with over 1,100 donors. Members of the World Mission Society Church of God will travel from all through California, Nevada, and Arizona to participate in this event and save lives by donating blood.
