Finding a church can be one of the most challenging things in a person’s life. The message portrayed is important, and the atmosphere is another essential factor in finding a church to dedicate your life to. I spent years trying to find the church that could change my life. But, through God’s grace, I came across the World Mission Society Church of God. I can say first hand there is simply no other church I have ever attended that is even remotely close to the World Mission Society Church of God. From the first day I attended, everybody was welcoming, considerate, and loving. Even though we didn’t know each other, they immediately made me feel comfortable, and they didn’t waste any time getting to know me and connecting with me personally and spiritually. While studying the Bible, my mind was opened to many new things. Surprisingly, these “new” things have been in the Bible for thousands of years. I asked questions, and I got answers. I learned so much in a short time, and I can say I learned more and felt more love than I had felt ever before in my entire life. It is not easy beginning a new chapter in life, no matter what it is, and finding a church has always been difficult for the average person (I know from experience). But, once I came in and started to study the Bible, I knew I had found the correct church. Everything we learn is from the Bible. The most important of which is God’s word written down in the 66 books of the Bible. I can proudly say I have found the true God in the Bible, and I have millions of brothers and sisters worldwide who share this same sentiment as myself. Jesus Christ came to this Earth to save us 2,000 years ago, yet people rejected him, called him crazy, and even made fun of him, ultimately leading to his death on the cross. In hindsight, they did this because they had their thoughts about how Jesus would come, so they failed to recognize him. In the same way, I came to realize that it is the same now. Many people believe that we can be saved just by accepting Jesus. In actuality, there is more to it, and most churches do not teach the correct truth from the Bible, which is the same mistake the people made while Jesus was on Earth. Through God’s unfailing love and grace, they allowed me to come into the World Mission Society Church of God and learn the way to be saved according to the teachings of Christ.
