I started college thinking I was going to take a break from going to church since I had gone every Sunday with my family from when I can remember, until I left for college. It turns out that would actually be the beginning of my life of faith after finding out about the Church of God.

One of my roommates came home one night and showed me that God spoke in a plural form in Ge 1:26, and revealed Their image as being two, male and female, as seen in the following verse. I remember thinking to myself, “Interesting, I have never heard of this before.”

Every time she came home from a bible study and shared the topics with me, it was always something new, something I was never taught before. Finally, I came to join a study and from then on, I haven’t stopped studying with the Church of God. I was so fascinated with the fact that every question was answered using the Bible, not just a person’s opinion or idea. 

After having the message of God’s salvation explained to me one by one through the Bible, I started to feel myself changing, wanting to become more faithful to the commands and teachings of God after learning what God’s true teachings are in the Bible. Whereas, just months before, I thought it was going to be a few years before I went to church again.

I am so thankful to have come to the Church of God where everything is supported by the Bible and where I can share the joy of coming to God with all the other members who put into practice God’s love.
