Good Citizenship

I was born as the oldest of four and was brought up by a single mother who worked very hard to care for us. Being the oldest, I had to grow up fast and take on lots of responsibility.

I rebelled due to a strict upbringing and ended up giving my mom a hard time. Due to this, I was sent to a military disciplinary program for young teenagers. After being released, I held in more anger than before, but as I got older I finally matured and realized to put the childish things behind and help my mom as much as I could to help raise my sisters. Even so, I felt lost and alone in the world for so long that I never thought I could ever find happiness or joy.

My mom always prayed for her children to be good people and to not get in trouble, I believe her wish came true in 2008 when a member from the World Mission Society Church of God shared with me about the words of God in the Bible and the Kingdom of Heaven.

I am filled with thankfulness everyday knowing I attend the most beautiful church in the world. The Church of God answered all the questions I had through the Bible and I can truly say that I am a very happy person.

My mom now boasts to all our family how she never worries about me because I belong to a great church that has taught me to be a good person in society, have good morals, serve our neighbors, and most importantly, share the love of a Mother to the whole world.

Because of The World Mission Society Church of God, I am able to have a beautiful relationship with my family, and I gained a beautiful relationship with my mom which was non-existent before coming to Church of God.

I am so thankful to God for allowing me to be a proud member of the World Mission Society Church of God.
